This October half-term, Hatfield Park will be transformed into a magical world for witches, wizards, and mystical creatures. From Saturday, October 26th to Thursday, October 31st, the historic estate invites families to immerse themselves in the enchanting atmosphere of Witches & Wizards Week. With plenty of adventures in store, it promises an unforgettable experience for everyone, be they a daring wizard or a crafty witch.
Explore the Enchanted Haunted Forest
A major attraction during the week is the Haunted Forest, which has been reimagined to be even spookier and more magical than before. Visitors can journey through the eerie woods, where magical creatures, ghostly surprises, and bewitching scenes await. Created by the talented Sarah Ruggeri from recycled materials, the forest offers a thrilling walk through enchanting woodland trails. Guests are encouraged to wear their wellies as they explore this captivating feature, which is included with a Park and Garden ticket.
Wicked Old Palace Tours: Unearth Ghostly Tales
From November 1st to 3rd, visitors will be treated to a spine-chilling experience with the Wicked Old Palace tours. Led by the enigmatic Lady Georgina, these tours delve into the eerie past of Hatfield House, revealing ghostly tales and mysterious secrets of the estate. The immersive experience offers a fascinating glimpse into history, perfect for those with a curiosity for the paranormal and a love of old-world stories.
To round off the magical adventure, Hatfield Park will host the Spooky Cinema Club, featuring beloved Halloween classics.
