The luxurious comfort of our rooms makes it difficult to tear yourself away, not to mention the great drinks and all-day dining in our Element Bar & Kitchen. However, you’ll discover that there’s all kinds of local attractions to visit should you with to get out and about during your stay. Here’s some suggestions for February.

Herts Executive Network

Firstly, let’s look at an event in-house. Jason Kemp: Solo Atlantic Rower, Adventure Athlete & Dad on Rogue Wave Scenarios takes place here at The Comet on February 8th, curated by the Herts Executive Network,  Jason uses the stories of his adventures to help individuals, teams and organisations achieve things that they never believed possible. Rogue Waves are a phenomena in the open ocean. They are unusually large, unpredictable, and suddenly appearing surface waves that can be extremely dangerous to ships, even to large ones and so are especially dangerous to small ocean rowing boats. Little is known about what causes them and so their appearance is impossible to predict and, much like in life, where destabilising events can suddenly appear and de-rail even the best laid plans. Come and hear tales of life at sea and meet some great new contacts.
