There is of course one major event taking place this month. May 6th is the Coronation of King Charles III. At The Comet Hotel London Hatfield, we are in easy distance of central London with easy travel by train, so you’ll have no problem getting to town to celebrate in the capital. If you’d rather keep it local, we have two top recommendations to celebrate this historic event nearby.

Following the screening there will be a bring your own lunch and cash bar. Evensong will be sung by the Cathedral choir at 5pm.

Slightly closer to us here at The Comet, you may wish to head to Hatfield House on May 6th for their King Charles III Coronation Weekend Celebrations. They are welcoming the public to set up with picnics and games to enjoy a beautiful day on Palace Green and adjacent George’s Field. Watch the splendour of the Coronation on the big screen with seating available in Palace Green, a short distance from George’s Field.
